*These conditions are in addition to the conditions of use listed within the facility use agreement*
Access is not permitted to anyone presenting the following symptoms:
- Fever (feeling hot to touch, a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher)
- Chills
- Cough or barking cough (croup)
- Shortness of breath
- Decrease or loss of smell or taste
- Fatigue, lethargy, malaise and/or myalgias (For adults > 18 years or old)
- Nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea (For children < 18 years)
- Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to rental.
- Each person entering the facility must complete the COVID screening form via QR code or paper copy. This would be provided to Public Health for contact tracing if necessary.
- Face coverings are mandatory for all people entering the facility per Provincial order, however, face coverings are not required to be worn on the ice.
- All patrons must follow physical distancing guidelines and traffic flow signage while in the facility.
- Showers are available to all groups under the conditions that all individuals exit the building 20 minutes following their rental.
- Washrooms within dressing rooms are available for use. Physical distancing in dressing rooms is required and face coverings must be worn.
- All persons entering the facility must provide proof of double vaccination and photo ID.
- Users are permitted to use rooms assigned by Staff (maximum of two per group). Rink side bleachers are available for additional space if required to accommodate physical distancing.
- The rental agreement holder is required to share all conditions of use with each participant beforehand so the expectations of each person entering the facility is made clear.
- Absolutely no sharing of food or drinks – each person is required to have individual water bottles properly labelled. These bottles must be spaced 2 meters apart and be properly sanitized after each practice.
- Spitting and blowing the nose without a tissue is prohibited.
- No loitering, all users of the facility must follow the traffic control floor plan.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Use an alcohol-based sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
- All equipment/training aids brought onto the ice must be cleaned/disinfected after each use.
- Each group must submit a completed COVID Safety Plan and submit to Facilities Booking Coordinator (Andy O’Leary at aoleary@owensound.ca) no later than 24 hours prior to rental.
